Tournament formatA midsummer day of tennis and croquet, played in beautiful private gardens in and around Cookham Dean. The tournament is primarily a fun event, so don't be put off from entering if you are not a regular player. Everybody gets the opportunity to play several times, and there are trophies for the eventual winners.
If you can't commit to staying for the whole day, you can still enter the morning session. Just let your court steward know that you are not available to go through to the later rounds. All play is in mixed doubles, and all standards are welcome. You can enter as a pair or as an individual, in which case the organisers will match you up with another player. |
Bring your friendsSpectators are welcome throughout the day. Bring a packed lunch! Hot and cold beverages and cake will be on sale during the finals in the afternoon.

Can you help?
We are always looking for people who can help to make the tournament happen. We are particularly looking for someone to take over the finances from 2022 onwards but whether it is helping to set up beforehand and clear up afterwards, being a court steward, or serving drinks during the finals, any contribution will be greatly appreciated. And if you would like to shape future events, why not join the committee?
Please contact Chris Scanlon to discuss what you can do.
